Corruption Watch Sierra Leone an official Transparency International chapter is registered as a non-profit Organization (NPO). This structure dictates its operational framework and ensures it has no political or business alignment, allowing it to act in the public interest.
Operating within the Rule of Law:
As an organization committed to promoting transparency and accountability, it operates within the existing legal frameworks and the Constitution Sierra Leone. Its work aims to ensure compliance with laws like the Public Finance Management Act, the Anti-Corruption Act, and procurement laws.
Strategic Litigation:
The organization engages in strategic litigation and legal advocacy to challenge decisions and enforce constitutional principles, often acting as an ambassador of Chang in significant public offices.
